Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

1 Who we are and what this policy covers

WOMAN OF PRINCIPLE, L.L.C., a Florida limited liability company presenting its work under the names MK Morales and Women of Principle ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the MK Morales / Women of Principle website at mk-morales.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information through this website, our email signups, speaking inquiries, and event registrations.

Contact hello.mkmorales@gmail.com or 316 Arlington Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 with questions or privacy requests. Marketing is optional when buying tickets or submitting inquiries.

2 Information we collect

Email signups. When you subscribe to The Principle Letter or Women Rising Retreat updates, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. We also keep your selected audiences, subscription status, signup source, the consent wording or version presented to you, and the date and time of consent.

Speaking inquiries. We collect your name, email address, and the information you choose to provide, which may include your phone number, organization, event type, approximate date, audience size, and event details. Please do not include payment card details, health information, or other sensitive personal information in the inquiry text.

Event registrations. We collect the buyer's name, email address, and phone number, and the name, email address, and phone number supplied for each attendee. If someone registers on your behalf, we receive your details from that person. We keep order and attendee records, payment status, the amount paid, and Stripe checkout or payment identifiers. A pending registration record may be created before payment is finished, including when checkout is abandoned or unsuccessful.

Payments. Stripe Checkout collects the payment information you enter and processes your payment. We receive the order and payment information needed to administer your registration. Stripe also processes information under its own privacy notice: https://stripe.com/privacy. Do not email us full card numbers or card security codes.

Messages and prior records. We collect information you send when you contact us or request help, a refund, or a ticket transfer. We also hold certain contact and subscription records migrated from our former Wix system, including available preference and consent records.

Technical and usage information. Our hosting, payment, and email services may automatically process IP addresses, browser and device information, approximate location inferred from an IP address, page requests, referring pages, timestamps, and security or error logs. Base44 includes platform usage measurement that can report page views, visits, and site interactions. We use relevant information to operate and secure the website, resolve problems, and understand performance. Email services also generate delivery, bounce, and error records and, where enabled, open or click measurements as described below.

3 How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Send the newsletter or retreat updates you choose to receive and keep a record of your preferences and consent.
  • Review speaking inquiries, reply to requests, and discuss potential engagements.
  • Process orders, verify payments, manage event capacity, maintain attendee lists, check in guests, and handle refunds or transfers.
  • Send receipts, confirmations, schedule changes, and other communications needed for your order or event attendance.
  • Operate and protect the website, resolve support issues, prevent misuse or fraud, and comply with legal and accounting obligations.
  • Maintain records needed to document permissions, honor opt-outs, and establish or defend legal claims.

Buying a ticket, being named as an attendee, or submitting a speaking inquiry does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. An unfinished registration does not by itself provide marketing permission. We do not use phone numbers for promotional text messages without a separate, appropriate opt-in.

4 Email choices

The Principle Letter and Women Rising Retreat updates are separate subscription choices. You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or email hello.mkmorales@gmail.com. You may request to stop one audience or all marketing from us. We honor marketing opt-outs promptly and no later than 10 business days after receipt.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel a ticket. We may still send necessary receipts, event updates, refund notices, or replies to your requests. Those messages are not used to enroll you in marketing.

We may retain a limited record of your email address and opt-out so that we do not add you back to a mailing list by mistake. Migrating older records does not change an opt-out. We send marketing to migrated Wix contacts only where our records support their affirmative subscription to the relevant audience and do not show a later opt-out.

5 Cookies and similar technologies

The website and its hosting and payment services use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies where needed for authentication, security, fraud prevention, preferences, and checkout. Base44 also includes platform analytics; measurements can include page views, visits, referral sources, device information, approximate location, and interactions. These measurements help us understand and improve website performance.

Email open or click measurement, where enabled, uses a small image or tracked link to report that a message was opened or a link was followed. We obtain consent or provide opt-out controls where applicable law requires them before using nonessential tracking. Necessary delivery, bounce, security, and transaction records may still be generated.

You can use browser settings to restrict cookies or browser storage and your email software to block remote images. Some website or payment functions may not work if required technologies are blocked. Browser Do Not Track settings do not cancel a registration, unsubscribe you from email, or stop essential transaction and security processing. We honor legally recognized opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, where required by applicable law. You may also contact hello.mkmorales@gmail.com about privacy choices.

Following a link or loading content from another provider can allow that provider to collect information under its own notice, including information about activity across its services. Review the provider notices linked below. Browser controls do not replace consent or opt-out rights required by law.

6 How we disclose information

We disclose information as reasonably needed to providers supporting the website and our operations:

  • Beaver Dam Design Company LLC, our independent website designer and technical administrator, manages the Base44 hosting-plan account and may access records to maintain the site, investigate issues, and carry out our instructions. Holding that account does not make the designer the event organizer or ticket seller.
  • Base44 provides the website platform, hosting, database, and related infrastructure.
  • Stripe processes payments and related transaction information.
  • Resend delivers email and provides delivery reports and any enabled email measurements.
  • Google/Gmail handles correspondence through our contact email address.
  • Wix was our previous website and contact platform. We may retain relevant legacy records there or in authorized migration exports while migration, support, recordkeeping, or deletion tasks are completed.

Provider notices are available at https://base44.com/privacy-policy, https://stripe.com/privacy, https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy, https://policies.google.com/privacy, and https://www.wix.com/about/privacy. Providers may also process certain information for their own security, legal-compliance, or service-improvement purposes under applicable agreements and their notices. Our use of providers does not remove our own legal responsibilities.

Authorized organizers and support personnel may access information needed for their responsibilities. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, to comply with applicable law or lawful requests, and where reasonably necessary to protect people, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal rights.

We do not sell, rent, or trade subscriber, inquiry, or attendee lists, or provide those lists to advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our website administrator is not authorized to use those records for its own marketing or for another client.

We may provide limited registration details to personnel helping administer or check in guests at the event, subject to appropriate access restrictions. We do not provide attendee lists to speakers, sponsors, or partners for their own marketing without a separate lawful basis and any permission required by law.

7 How long we keep information

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy, considering inquiry and subscription status, event support, and legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute requirements.

Subscription information is used while the subscription is active. After an opt-out, we may keep limited suppression and permission records to document and honor the choice. Inquiry and attendee records are kept according to their operational purpose; financial and transaction records may need to be kept longer for accounting, legal obligations, refunds, or disputes. Pending orders are not treated as completed purchases or marketing subscriptions.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to lawful retention requirements and documented backup cycles. A deletion request may not remove a record we need to retain for a legal obligation or ongoing transaction, but we limit its use to the reason it is retained.

8 Privacy requests

Email hello.mkmorales@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion, or to ask about information use. Identify the email address used and describe your request. Do not send passwords or full payment card details.

Before disclosing or deleting information, we may verify identity using the associated email address or record details, requesting only what is reasonably necessary. Ordinary marketing unsubscribes do not require this verification.

Our usual target is to respond to privacy requests within 45 calendar days, sooner where applicable law requires. Any shorter mandatory deadline controls. We will explain any lawful limitation or permitted extension, including a need to retain certain records. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to a portable copy, to limit or object to processing, to withdraw consent, or to opt out of certain disclosures. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.

If you disagree with our response, reply to the same address with the subject "Privacy appeal" and explain your concern. We will review the decision and respond within any legally required time. You may also contact the privacy regulator or attorney general with jurisdiction where you live. These statements do not limit rights provided by law or represent that every privacy statute applies to this business.

9 Security and processing locations

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access restrictions appropriate to people's roles. No internet service or storage method guarantees complete security.

We are based in Florida, United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy protections may differ. We use applicable provider agreements and legally required safeguards for covered transfers. Contact us for information about relevant safeguards where you have a legal right to receive it. Visiting the website does not itself waive privacy rights or provide consent for a transfer that requires separate consent.

10 Children

This website, email signups, and event registration are intended for adults age 18 and older. Do not submit information for a child or register a minor through these forms. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact hello.mkmorales@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required. A future offering for minors would require a separate age-appropriate registration and guardian process.

11 Other websites and policy changes

Links to third-party websites and services are governed by those providers' privacy practices. Review their notices before submitting information to them.

We will post policy updates and their effective date here, with additional notice or consent where legally required. Updates do not override marketing preferences or authorize uses requiring additional permission. For questions or requests, use the contact details in section 1.
